Brainy Quote of the day

VBS

Our VBS was about serving others. Aunt Rebecca is a new part of our church family, we had a foot washing as part of the lesson, seen her with Emily Ann. Mr Kevin serves Riley. Only a few weeks before this Mr Kevin was teaching Riley to shoot guns out on his farm!

Jay participating in helping the kids @ VBS.

Emily was one of the actresses in the many skits and songs during our VBS!

Lakeshore Moms and kids had a day @ the park, it's pretty nice for Riley to be with his cousins Ben and Emma Grace so much.

The Boys in Alaska '07

Fathers Day 2007

Out to Olive Garden for the blessed event this year. We missed Jay as he was off to Tallahasee, beginning his month of vacationing with the John Haynes Family. Gifts included his favorites snickers, pimento olives and gear for his fishing trip to Alaska.
Looks like Hayley and Emily coordinated their outfits for the occasion.

Crazy summer in Florida

What a week in weather we have had. From hanging out at the pool to threats of tornado's. Emily, Riley and I had made a hide out in case we heard twirler was near by of blankets, computer and cell phones. Check out the view from out our front door.

June holidays in the Haynes house

The family went to Mimi's Cafe for the Ellens 44th Birthday dinner. Jimmy and Ellen spent some time alone at the beach for our anniversary. Happy 23rd anniversary to us, xoxo.

It was a rough day and night, check out that diploma with the gold film seal from Douglas Anderson.

In the California tradition...

We're so proud of you. You did it.
I made Hayley a shutterfly book, birth to 18 years. It was the best thing for me to spend the time, looking back, we've had some great times. Hayley is always so happy.

Class of 2007

Muga and Papa, Ann and Rick all came for the graduation event. We had a hectic day, visiting the Atlantic, getting lost, detoured, clothes mishaps, pins needed for the collar, etc. we finally made it to Al's Pizza for a nice meal. Doesn't she look GREAT in her cap and gown.

Hayley's Graduation Party

Hayley celebrated with one of her best friends Danny with a combined party! She had some surprise guests and some very good friends and family members who came along way to celebrate :) Hayley, Toogie and Virginia have become close sisters in Christ these past couple of years, just like their MOMS

Mother's Day Picnic '07

I got to spend my mothers day with my husband, kids and my Mom and Dad.
We had our traditional picnic fixed by Jimmy :)
Got some surprise gifts from the fam... love the Swoozies "Happy Everything" plate from the girls, the knives Jay bought and picked out himself, and the glass canisters from Riley and Jimmy. Mom got some different gifts too!

Father and son.

Riley and Jimmy ready for church on a nice day.

Pirate Party

Today is cinco de Mayo, so we had chips and salsa @ the birthday!
The kids started the party with a piñata, that included their pirate hats, necklaces and silver coins. Then off to the treasure hunt, led by Mr Jimmy! They had to find a capsized boat by the pond and a broken guitar both containing clues, finally into the woods~and behind a skeleton was the treasure box full of candy! Aunt Rebecca organized a sword fight, and then a sword slinging contest, while we got the hot dogs and cake ready for the kids.
Riley enjoyed having all his friends over and all the gifts he's received at the party and in the mailbox from family. The day ended with his cousin Emma Grace having a sleepover..... Here are the two of them now:Found the treasure box!
Checking the treasure map in the backyard...

Piñata has been broken and we are all dressed like pirates now... checking our first map to find treasure.

The day has finally come! After a month long countdown, it's Riley's 6th Bdy. We had birthday cake ice cream cups and chocolate chip cookies in his K~class today :)Pirate party coming up on Saturday!
